Hi, I have a WD 1 TB My Passport drive. Recently, it stopped working. When i plug-in the cable to the computer, the system does not display any of the partitions of my WD portable drive. Designed for Mac My Passport for Mac portable storage works straight out of the box with Mac Reimagined Design The bold, vibrant design of the My Passport for Mac drive is sure to stop you in Pros: Loved the terabyte memory, loved the plug and play ease. Cons: Mine quit two weeks outside.
Hi Aika, There is no definite time set for the software to complete the scan. Scan time depend upon the size of the drive.
In 1TB drive size, the software will take hours to scan the entire disk. The software may also take time due to presence of bad sectors on the disk. We advise you to be patient and let the scan complete. If it doesn't then please image the drive using 'Create Image' feature of the software.
![Passport Passport](/uploads/1/2/5/4/125465390/714305139.png)
Once the Image is created you can load the image through 'Resume Recovery' and run scan. Hope this helps!! Please let us know your further issues.
So I have a 1TB external drive, and it's going through the sectors. But it has taken 4 days to go through ONE of the rows of sectors shown. There are 25 rows. So according to that, it's going to take 100 days to get through the drive. That seems a little lengthy.
There was only one lost sector found so far, and that was the very first one. But I don't dare stop the scan, because it's suppose to restore only what has been scanned.
I can't take an image of the drive, because the drive won't mount. (Long story.) Is there a chance it will speed up? Or am I just stuck? Thanks, Matt. Have a damdged hdd with raw partition. Used realy a dozzen data recovery programs. Finaly stellar is the only one hwo seems to be affective.
Its scanning now for 2 days continusly. But how long will it thake?????????
There are 976773168 sectors on the hdd. Its yet just at 1234944 sectors. Zo it looks like it will take weeks to read all the sectors. Is that correct??? Is it possible to pause ore stop the scanning?
If I stop scanning, can I resume from the part where i stoped? Like to here from you. Hi Marc, Is it damaged logically or physically? Scan time stretches when the drive has bad sectors or corrupt file structure.
Use 'Create Image' option to image the entire damaged hard drive. If your drive is large then you can create 2 images of your hard drive.
For Instance, if your hard drive has 100 sectors, then image first 0-50 then create second image from 51-100. Now use 'Resume Scan' option to scan these image files.
This will reduce your time and effort. Do let us know your further query. I'm scanning my Time Machine drive since I accidentally deleted some important backups.
The drive is 2TB and I chose 'Quick Recovery'. It's running for three days now.
It's nit stuck, it progresses slowly and for over two days now it says: 'Performing Quick Recovery. Updating directory entries(1847476), Please wait.' The number changes and the bar is progressing and starting anew, progressing and starting anew, the number gets bigger. What does this mean? How many days will this take? It surely can't be healthy for the drive to run days and days and days.
Anything I can do to speed it up? Am I supposed to check 'Put hard disks to sleep when possible' in the system preferences? Thanks for the help. I've been scanning my drive for around 5 hours now and its been stuck on the same sector for 4 hours out of the 5.
So far out of my terabyte I've gotten 2700 files back from the scan which is great, but its still at 0% which I do understand since its a large drive, but is being on the same sector for this long normal? The program is still responding it seems since I can move the scroll bar around, but my CPU memory is heavily bogged down, so I figure its still scanning. Just want to make sure this is normal for it to take this long on the same sector since i don't know if I should restart it or not to save time already spent. The reason of data loss. Scanning option (name) performed in our software.
As you have confirmed that your hard drive size in terabytes, hence our software will take the time to scan your hard drive completely. If our software stuck on a particular sector in order to scan, it means there are some bad sectors on your hard drive.
Hence we recommend you to create an image of your hard drive from the 'create image' option in our software. I am in the process of scanning my Passport for Mac external drive, which as of today stopped being recognized by both my Mac Mini and my MacBook. The scan has been going for about 8 hours and is about two-thirds of the way through the first row. It was slowest for the first few boxes where a lost volume was found, and seems to be moving more quickly now, although it will still take weeks to scan at this rate.
I am wondering if I can click 'stop scan' at this point since it did find a lost volume, and that is probably what was causing the problem. Will the program be able to recover files from that lost volume if I stop the scan in the middle?
Are there any risks to stopping the scan? Also, is it OK to use the computer on which the scan is taking place to do other things - work in Google Docs? Watch videos online? Finally, assuming the program can recover my files, will they be in their original folders/formats (for example, my Photos library)? Will they be ready to put onto a new drive and use as usual? Hi, You can stop the scan if you have found the volume in the software.
Software is a read only application and it will not make any changes to your drive even if you stop the scan. Kindly do not use the external hard drive on which you are performing the scan. You may use google docs, play videos online as they are using your internal drive and not the external drive.
Software will recover the data in the same manner as shown in the preview. You need to save the recovered files in another external hard drive or on your internal drive.
Software will not allow you to save the recovered files back to the same drive from which you are trying to recover them as it may cause overwritten activity on the drive. Regards, Stellar Support. Ok so i am trying to recover 930GB of data from a '1TB WD passport for mac external hardrive' the drive shows up in 'disk utility' but DOES NOT MOUNT. So far i have; started an 'advanced scan' and waited patiently for 5-6 days until i got up in the morning to find that the program had closed with no trace of recovered files or even a warning or error message. I then proceeded to perform a 'quick scan' which is now on its 3rd day of 'updating directory entries' and has reached (1893560) which i believe is only a small fraction of my total entries. I have read through all of the FAQ's, and back & forth responses on this forum.
One thing that no one has answered clearly is. IF you are stuck in the position that i am in, is it more beneficial to option 1: leave it for what seems like 100 days to do its thing (surely no program expects your computer to run for that long AND i cant afford to have a computer completely out of action for 100 days, let alone the fact that i need my hard drive data asap) or option 2: stop the scan, 'image the drive' and began a new scan using the 'image'. I am also under the impression that as the directory entries and updated they should be popping up one by one? On my program there is literally no sign of files or a file tree once the scan had begun, it is a blank page that says 'scanning in progress' can anyone confirm whether there is something im missing? I've been running raw recovery for several days. As with others, it looks like it will take weeks to complete the scan of my 1 TB drive (of which I only used 300GB). I KNOW that you direct folks to create an image of the drive and scan the image, but if I stop the scan now to create an image, will I risk losing data or only recovering what has been recovered thus far?
I don't want to jeopardize anything by stopping the scan now, but I also think its insane to have this run day and night for months!! My 1TB external hard drive was saying format hard drive before use after it mistakenly ejected from the PC. I use windows 7.
I'm using Stellar to fix scan and fix it but its 38hrs now It has read 447596544 out of sectors. Evn though it has scanned for 38hrs, it shows it has scanned for 17hrs It initially said scanning will take 15hrs, then it went to 30hrs later to 70hrs thn to 32hrs now it says 59hrs. Its on phase 1 of 7. No files found yet. Whats the assurance its gonna find files and what will happen if I stop it? Will I lose files? Hi, Thank you for contacting Stellar Data Recovery.
We would like to inform you that the scanning time depends on a lot of factors like capacity of the drive, severity of corruption, type of files in the drive etc. Therefore we can’t give you an estimate about the scanning time. As long as the software is not getting stuck during scan, we suggest you to kindly continue with the scan. The files will be get listed once the reading of sectors will be completed.
Our software works on “preview” basis. It means if you are able to see the preview in the software then recovery will be possible from software. Regards, Stellar Data Recovery. Same exact thing every time i open a new tap or start typing in facebook. I even deleted chrome and re downloaded it to see if something had been corrupted in the file, but. IT STILL HAPPENs. Does anyone know if they are working on a solution for an update because i simply think its an internal glitch bc im running Mac OS Mountain Lion and as soon as i downloaded the most recent update that apple offered for it this problem started happening. If anyone hears how to fix this problem please let me know. Beverly Trca-Kitchen 27/2/2013, 17:59 น. I noticed prior to upgrading to Chrome 25 that the browser would keep crashing due to the built-in Flash/Shockwave plugin of Chrome.
After finally disabling that to use the native Adobe Flash player of the OS, it was more stable. I know this is due to Flash because Chrome will tell me that Shockwave has crashed.blah blah blah After upgrading to Chrome 25, it seems that something else is going haywire and I don't think it's due to Flash but more of an extension error. I don't receive a Shockwave error but just a more generic 'Google Chrome has stopped working' or something of that nature.
It's frustrating. What I did notice is that prior to the browser crashing, my CPU would spike a bit due to the Chrome process and the browser itself would not respond to commands. At the moment, I am disabling all my extensions save for three, which I absolutely much have and that is: ABP Lastpass Xmarks Alexander Chamessian 5/3/2013, 16:23 น. I may have found a fix for this.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, to no avail. This is really getting ridiculous.
It is NOT my firewall or antivirus, it is the flashplayer. I have tried to change my shortcut url and that is not possible on my Vista/64 bit.
I believe Google needs to change something, make an effort at least. On facebook work much better than farmville. Odeho19 20/3/2013, 17:30 น.
Repeating a 'form letter' to help us out does nothing for us. And NOT understanding (i.e. Reading what we're actually posting) makes you look dumb. Your 'solution(s)' don't work, and are not even really related to what ALL of us are having issues with. So, I'd ask that, in the future, either give us a solution that pertains to OUR direct issue we're discussing, or DON'T POST ANYTHING AT ALL, AND QUIT WASTING OUR TIME. Your product keeps crashing on ALL of us.
It doesn't matter what we're doing, or how many tabs we have open. Almost all of us are experiencing issues with your 'flash' player that you're shoving on us. We'd appreciate it if your company would take some of the blame, AND FIX THE PROBLEM. Paula bryant 20/3/2013, 17:55 น. Hi Roey, I also just bought a new laptop with windows 8, I hate IE, so I downloaded Google Chrome. I can get on facebook, but when I try to play my games like castleville, or others the page won't even load. I downloaded shockwave & flash player & it didn't help.
I also have gone into setting extensions, malware. Chrome still doesn't work. I also have computers with windows 7 & XP & when I use those 2 computers I get 'aw snap' every 2 minutes. Its not on my end I have Verizon Vios Quantum the fastest internet connection on the web. Chrome is slow & sluggish.
I agree with everyone else on this form. The problem is with chrome & not out computers.

It has been about two days or so and I have yet to experience any more crashes even with the majority of extensions enabled. Granted, this might not work for some as I'm sure I have read elsewhere that the issues continue to persists. However, it's definitely worth a try. It appears to be Chrome's built-in support for plugins. If you'll notice, NONE of the suggestions offered by Google includes disabling plugins.
Don't confuse plugins with extensions. Extensions are the third party apps you can add to enhance the browser. To view plugins, type in in the browser's url: chrome://plugins/ Disable everything. Of course most sites won't work without Flash or Java disabled, but disable it anyway. Try using the browser for a while without it just to see whether the Aw snap disappears. Then gradually add in the Flash Player and Java plugins.
Then use your browser for a while with just these two. You should use it for at least several hours if not a day to see whether this improves the situation. If things work fine, then add the Shockwave plugin.
Be aware that Chrome supports two versions of Flash. One is its own built-in version that it automatically retrieves and updates periodically. The other is the version you typically download from Adobe and install manually. Personally, I would use that version. You need to disable the built-in version. Just Google how to do that.

If I click a link in a yahoo article, goes back to 'aw snap'. Cannot access gmail, google menu, help, tools, report a problem, etc. so cannot provide you an error code or disable extensions. But from the other comments here that appears to be a non-solution anyway since evidently the problem is from your end not mine. Also, ALL of my 'favorites' buttons result in 'aw snap'. Virus & spyware scans come out AOK. Created a new user profile but it did no good.

After trying everything that Google suggested with no success, I finally found a solution other than using IE or Firefox. I installed the beta version of Chrome and it seems to work.
It's not the best solution but seems to work. Google's suggestions and lack of a proper response is very telling to me. Most of their suggestions wouldn't work because all that I could see in the browser was the 'Aw Snap' page. The only thing I could see in the browser was the version.

I would be afraid to update to a higher version for some time given the apparent mess which has been created by V26, and the fact that it affects some PC's and not others. I would think that Chrome developers would have to make a lot of patches which might make it hard to get a universal stable platform for some time, and even rolling back to V25 as a starting point might also create problems with a lot of users who are not technically proficient, I am sure that bits of software would be all over the PC, look how long it took me (2 days) to clean out all the upgrade modules with your welcome assistance and that was at the beginning of the crisis. I will stay on v25 and wait. My AW SNAP computer problem has been fixed. It was a MOTHERBOARD ISSUE. My husband is a computer programmer and finally took it upon himself to investigate the AW SNAP problem that had been a problem on my computer for several months. FIRST, Google Chrome was reinstalled and still my computer crashed.
Then, my entire operating system was reinstalled from SCRATCH.and it made it WORSE. Finally, it turned out to be a MOTHERBOARD issue! Once my motherboard was REPLACED everything worked.

I FIXED MY PROBLEM AND HOPE THIS CAN HELP MOST OF YOU.PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ ALL BELOW(I know its long). I have attached a PDF that is a bit easier to read than below. The following steps worked for me. My issue was the flash plugin conflict.
I am on OS 10.7 and the latest Chrome. I too had gone through almost all the steps listed in this blog. I know that not everyone has the same issue and some extensions may be causing this as they are 3rd party apps(step 6) and some may have hardware issues(Step 1). I included these steps to help rule these out for anyone else, as they were not my problem(after a very long process of elimination). My problem was step 7. From the majority of what a lot of you have reported and fixes you tried that have not worked please try to the Flash fix.
(Thanks to: Erik Rasmussen, Verol Phillips, and Mr. Ben 1966) Note: I was having issues even getting to Chrome settings because of the crash.
If I waited for the crash I usually could get to settings after. But changing the profile helped me get to settings so I could fix my problem, so I included it. (Steps 2-5: Yes they are from the Aw, Snap! Check your hardware. I am not going to coach you through this.

Its therapeutic.) 5. Restart Chrome. Open Chrome and Go to chrome://extensions and delete all of them. You may want to write down or take a screen shot of all them so you can reinstall one at a time later and check to see if it’s the extensions.
Open Chrome and Go to chrome://plugins (this is not extensions) 8. Open a working browser(☺OHthe Irony!) and go to (Thanks Mr.
You can also disable all of them and re-enable them one at a time to see if another plugin is the issue. I DISABLED THE ABODE DOWNLOADED FLASH AND HAVE NOT HAD A CRASH AT ALL. You can choose to disable Chromes builtin flash but not sure what else it might effect in Chrome. I also disable the following plugins because I don’t use them. I had disabled Silverlight but have since re-enabled it and all is well. SharePoint Browser Plug-in ii. Shockwave Flash iii.
WebEx64 General Plugin Container iv. Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in, Version 10.1.4 - Version: 10.1.4 c.
NOTE: If you have more than one user setup in Chrome you will have to do this for each user account. IF THIS WORKS FOR YOU: Re-Enable / Re-Install your extensions one by one and wait a day or 2 and see if any of them cause the crash and report it here so others will know. IF THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU: Very sorry and hope you figure it out. I know it is frustrating. I had this issue for about a month and a half. Yukimura Sanada 11/4/2013, 8:05 น. As I posted before, I'm getting 'aw snap' right from clicking the Chrome icon on my desktop.
Google is unusable at this point; even the help & forums can only be accessed through IE or FF and their lame responses are incomprehensible techno-babble to me. I'd like to be able to click my Chrome icon and just have it work, like before. Makes no sense to require me to download extensive technical instructions on (1) how to fix the problems their programming has caused (which according to forum posts from other more-tech-savvy-than-me users, do not even work, were off the cuff & untested suggestions, and were a waste of their time) and (2) access Google from another browser to send them crash codes (which the settings I set up when I originally downloaded Chrome years ago are supposed to forward to them automatically). I have neither the computer knowledge nor the inclination to jump through hoops for the privilege of utilizing their system.
If they're unable or unwilling to make Chrome EASILY accessible for users again, I wish they'd just say so instead of leaving us hanging. Then I can begin the tedious process of reproducing my somewhat extensive list of 'bookmarks' on IE or FF, which I've delayed doing thus far because. Lazy, I guess. Easier to wait & hope for an automatic download fix!?!?
Pulf 12/4/2013, 16:32 น. Hi, Chrome has been displaying the «Ah! Snap» message since two weeks ago. I can't even log in. The browser won't let me open any page or even manage bookmarks. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall (which I did today) the browser, but it didn't work. I'm using Firefox and Opera with no problem, but I really need to import the bookmarks from Chrome.
I can open an «Incognito page», but when I try to load any page the «Snap» message comes up again. How can I get my bookmarks? I really need that:( I can't disable any extensions since I cannot access to any Chrome function (I can open an incognito page but it won't allow me to do anything else:( OS: Vista Erik Rasmussen 13/4/2013, 7:39 น.
Hi, This started for me last night. I can't even check my extensions, but I went and renamed the default folder for Chrome in my /Library/Application Support/Chrome folder. Restarted the browser and I got one page loaded then within seconds, 'aw snap' showed up. I couldn't even get to the settings to see if I had crash reporting turned on. What I did to resolve it was save my bookmarks file onto my desktop then used MacKeeper to completely deinstall Chrome. Downloaded it again and installed it, then moved my bookmarks back to the Default folder and now it works. Don't know what happened, but a fresh install seems to have resolved it for me (at least for now).

Then it got to where I couldn't open a page and every one of them was crashing. I did a delete and complete reinstall and that seemed to help. Shortly afterwards I went back to Safari, which is working great Chrome used to be a better browser than Safari, not any more. I would say first try the delete and reinstall (but export your bookmarks first).
If that doesn't do it, try another browser. I know, annoying, isn't it? Joyce de Jong 20/4/2013, 15:59 น. MrsSpooky Jones, and All others, It sounds like you fixed your issue when you reinstalled and then later in the blog it looks like it came back. This must be a plugin or extension that is being downloaded and installed. Do you know what updates or extensions you installed between the 2 occurrences? Removing one of the flash files in plugins helped me.
(because chrome can potentially have 2 files of flash installed the built-in and the downloadable one) 1.This is found under: chrome://plugins 2. Then click on details in the top right corner. Scroll down to Flash and if it says 2 files remove one. Or try Systems Preferences Flash Player Advanced, and I deleted 'Browsing Data and Settings.' I have had flash and Java cause more issues in browsers during my time as an IT than anything else. All the people complaining here have valid frustrations and yes chrome or Chromium should develop a 64bit browser and solve most of Chrome's issues but until that time hope this helps you guys.
Yukimura Sanada has a bit mor of an intriqute post, if any of you want to try and my PDF should be attached in the post above to Tj YVR or look on page 6. Nancy pervaiz 26/4/2013, 8:38 น.
HOWEVER, you said its taken you a month and half of screwing around (pardon my English) to resolve the problem for you and that's the real point. Previous versions of Chrome has some minor problems easily resolved as I said, but nothing like this complete crash experienced by some users. I don't mind going under the hood (where's that icon) from time to time but not for the time you spend, I like Chrome, but not to that extent! It seems to be this version was released before it was properly tested and that the resources available for chrome are very low in priority from Google.
As an example the google map robot changed my business location on the map without warning about a week ago, and when I found out and sent a message with the correct location (the previous one I had for 6 years), I got an instant reply, a call the next day to verify my data and they corrected in within 24 hours. I guess they could be sued for false map info, but not for a failed browser. I agree, sampaguita that Google could provide better support for Chrome. They are still relying too much on the open source Chromium community and now that Google has taken and rebranded it they should contribute more, honestly most people have no idea what Chromium is. As an IT I understand the difficulty in determining what the true problem in any situation could be but honestly if Google Helped Chromium build a 64bit browser like every other browser out there.
Then Issues with flash, Java and the fact that they no longer support their latest releases in 32bit browsers would go away in Chrome. Until then good luck all! BJett 30/4/2013, 10:07 น.
Lori did you try disabling your plugins? I have an earlier post with some possible solutions. Have you tried those?
What did you install today or did you update Chrome earlier today? If you updated chrome there are some instructions to revert back to the older version in this conversation on earlier pages. If you installed flash or a new plugin or extension then try my fix posted above and let me know if it works. Also are you on MAC, Windows? And what version of Chrome are you on?
(go to settings then select about google chrome) Viola Carder 30/4/2013, 22:55 น. I get the 'Aw, Snap!' Message on every webpage I open. I opted in to crash reports to try to get the crash ID and navigated to several websites, each visit resulting in an 'Aw, Snap!' Message, just as before. However, when I went to check the crash IDs, it said no recent crashes had been reported.
I tried a few more times, every website crashed, still no IDs on the list (I closed the page, refreshed the list, opened new tabs, etc., nothing added IDs to the list). I tried an incognito window, which crashed in the same manner.
I found my plug-ins, and you say to let you all know, but who do I let know and how do I go about it? Am I supposed to tell you?
Email somebody? This last instruction isn't very clear. I should also note that I'm on a Mac.
I followed all the instructions on the Chrome Help webpage for the 'Aw, Snap!' Problem, as well, and nothing worked. (ไม่รู้จัก) 3/5/2013, 9:51 น. BJett 3/5/2013, 10:20 น. Abby, Who's instructions are you following? What did you do after you found your plugins?
I suggest trying to disable Silverlight and Flash to see if those are the culprits. I posted a PDF a couple of times and am in the process of reviewing and updating it with some of the others suggested solutions. All, Some notes on posting. Please address a person in your post if you are responding to a particular person's post or suggested fix. 'Post Reply' simply puts your post in the conversation with no regards to which post you clicked reply on. If you are simply asking Google to 'fix it', complain, or bash its not worth the everyone having to go through, all those, to find suggested solutions and feedback.
Make your posts helpful like Abby and some others. Include what you are doing, what you tried, and other issues. If you simply post its broke or 'it does not work' those of us that want to help have not point to start from to find out what you tried.
Complain and vent all you want just include helpful info along with it. Not a Google Employee by the way just a user who solved his issue and wants to help.
Nancie Mann Wong 3/5/2013, 14:05 น. Thank you for posting this, it's brilliant and needed to be said. It's total crap. We need answers not a flippin' 'form letter' which does absolutely none of us a damn bit of good.
Like you said, it makes them look dumb. On Wednesday, March 20, 2013 8:30:42 PM UTC-4, odeho19 wrote: Repeating a 'form letter' to help us out does nothing for us.
Thank You. This 'Aw Snap' malfunction has been happening to me nonstop for the last month at least. I've tried everything that has been suggested and nothing has made it stop. I've been copying and pasting links in safari to try to get them to open and that finally works. So I know it's something with chrome. It is getting to the point where that 'aw, snap' message pops up and my page fails to load that I am instantly enraged. Help, please!
I just want it to stop! I have no extensions enabled, have tried incognito window, recently selected crash reports to be sent to google.I'm out of ideas. Would re-installing chrome be an option? I have a macbook pro. Typing 'chrome://crashes' into the bar didn't give me anything but an error message. Yukimura Sanada 8/5/2013, 14:48 น. I have been having problems with Google Chrome since the last update which I think was in late March.
Nothing else on my computer had changed. I have had to download Firefox to use until Google Chrome is fixed but I don't like Firefox as well while playing Farmville, Chrome worked better with Farmville but I can't play the game properly if the browser crashes every few minutes. I hope Google fixes this soon. If not, then maybe I should experiment with other browsers and see if there is another one I like better than Firefox. Too bad that the people working at Google won't take responsibility and fix the problem and just tells us to clear our cash and reboot our computer and disable add-ons, etc. I wish they wouldn't force an update on us that hasn't been properly debugged. Quandary1 10/5/2013, 7:37 น.
My issue with Google Chrome started a few weeks ago right after an update. It has been shutting down or stops working every few minutes ever since. What happens to me is that the browser will suddenly shut down with no messages or warnings and when I click on the Google Chrome thingy at the bottom of the screen it will say: Google Chrome didn't shut down correctly. To reopen the pages you had open, click Restore. Other times the screen goes sort of foggy (all print gets lighter than it was) and I get a popup that says: Google Chrome as stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.
Then after a while I get a popup that says: Google Chrom has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Then when I try to restart Google Chrome I get: Google Chrome didn't shut down correctly. To reopen the pages you had open, click Restore.
Greg williams9977 14/5/2013, 8:29 น. I have found that when forums don't work, it occasionally helps to notify the head honcho. With Google the boss's name is Eric Schmidt, and the address and phone of Google, Inc. Is as follows: Address 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA 94043 United States - Map +1-6 (Phone) +1-6 (Fax) The reason this (sometimes) works is that stuffing the 'big cheese's' fax and snail mail with complaints gets them sufficiently annoyed to actually do something, because they do not wish to be bothered in their ivory towers where they keep busy counting up their stock options.
I bet you $1000 that the upper level managers have absolutely no knowledge of the issues involved. So, how about that 'self-healing software' that was a buzzword about 10 years ago? Yukimura Sanada 15/5/2013, 13:42 น.
Does this also apply to Mac? I can't find your original post. And can't find where the Chrome plugins are, even with a search. Chrome consistently crashes my Mac while scrolling on Facebook.
It is not even 'escape-able' (as in holding down the option key with the escape key). Everything on my computer is frozen except for the mouse arrow - altho it has no effect on any window. I end up having to shut the Mac down with the power button.
Thanks for any assistance. Am now using Firefox again but liked Chrome for certain aspects. Fordmexico 22/5/2013, 7:34 น.
